I don’t like my user name. I was discussing it with ipzma (who is the only person on my friends list that I’ve ever met IRL), and she was saying that it doesn’t suit me. To be honest, I picked a username that is meant ironically, and that’s an inside joke. I didn’t give it too much thought, and now that it’s being used to represent me online, well, yuck. I don’t care for it at all. I’ve come up with a few new potential names. It’s $15 to change the name. Quite pricey, really. I’m not even sure if I’ll change the user name. Who knows. Most of names I’ve come up with are pretty corny. Some people have the coolest handles, and I’m always thinking “Damn, now why can’t I think of stuff like that?” Anyhow, here are the choices so far:

I like you as Queengirl! However, I wouldn't say a screen name is only a name. Screen-names give you a sort of persona online; it's the first thing people see of you before they get to know you. In saying that though, I like the name Queengirl - it conjures up an image of someone very sophisticated and regal!

I voted for stay as it is. But now I see it is running neck and neck with my least favourite "Twisted Sista"!

That's too funny. I'll let you in on a little secret, Twisted Sista wasn't my favorite, either. If I choose one, it will probably be Solsbury Valley. I'm a huge Peter Gabriel fan and Solsbury Hill would have been my first choice, but it was already taken. The only person that voted for it is also a Peter Gabriel fan, so I think she knew why I chose it.

The name that no one voted for doorway2_1000churches is actually a line from" In Your Eyes", a Peter Gabriel song, that also happened to be our wedding song. I'm still undecided as to whether or not I want to change it. At any rate, if you suddenly notice Solsbury Valley on your friends list, you'll know who it is ;-)
