Drunk drivers

mahoganyI don't understand why we can't just take away vehicles from drunk drivers. Take 'em away for a week (none of the 24 hour suspension nonesense) for those who blow yellow, and take 'em away for permanently for those who blow red. Suspending the license doesn't really do much for the truly incorrigible offenders. But take away their wheels, and they might take notice...
I know there are a lots of reasons why this probably wouldn't work, but it would be nice, wouldn't it?
If you're wondering what set me off...one of my neighbours admitted to my husband that he has his license suspended for DUI. He was telling my husband about how he tried to outrun the cops. Yeah, brag about you dumbass. It just aggravates me to no end.
