Chew on This...

mahoganyA few months ago, we borrowed Chew on Thisfrom the library. It’s basically Fast Food Nation for kids.
Apparently my son was so inspired by the content, that he was telling a friend of mine all about it. I’ve told him quite a bit about nutrition, and the fast food industry already, so I think he was already a member of the choir, and this book was preaching to him, but it still cracks me up that he’d find the subject matter so compelling that he’d spread the word to another adult. The extra sweet part is that she was so convinced by enthusiasm that she read the book, and loved it so much that she’s purchased a bunch to give away as gifts (she feels that they should be part of every home collection).
