mahoganyMy two and a half year old son was falling asleep in his supper today. When I asked him if he was tired and if he wanted to sit in my lap, he was happy to take me up on the offer. He fell asleep in my lap within five minutes. Hubby usually puts him to bed at night, so I miss out on his bedtime ritual. It's probably been at least a year since the last time he fell asleep in my arms. It felt so wonderful to hold my beautiful, snoring boy. He's so active that he doesn't really cuddle for any length of time. I miss that. The time just flies. That's why I'm so grateful for days like today when I get my baby back, if only just for a few minutes.
