On Friday, my husband and I went on a date without the children for the first time in two years (my mother is in town). It had been waaaaay too long. We saw Pirates of the Caribbean. I had a great time. The move was campy...fluffy...formulaic... pure escape. We definitely need to do that more often.

'Course we had to cut it short, and go home right after the movie, since both of the children woke up about twenty minutes after we left, and refused to go back to sleep...
